Key experience/qualifications
- Quality systems, preferably in a medical software development environment
- ISO 9000, 13485
- GAMP
- In particular knowledge of FDA/EU and Japanese software/medical device certification requirements and procedures would be a distinct advantage
- Structured software testing
- Software versioning systems
- Document control
Desirable experience
- Medical or scientific background, in particular bioinformatics and genomics
- Knowledge of software development processes
Key personal attributes
- Independent self-starter
- Focused on quality assurance and testing
- Comfortable working in small teams in a dynamic environment
- Willingness to learn new concepts and tools
