Crosslinks’ current projects include producing a robust diagnostic ICT pipeline to support the microarray-based diagnosis of Acute Myeloid Leukaemia (AML) and the V-Scope visizualisation project.

The diagnostics ICT pipeline is designed to be compliant with the stringent demands of the FDA and can be adapted to the application of different diagnostic products in the future.

The V-Scope project provides 3-D medical image rendering and virtual reality visualization solutions to enable researchers and clinicians to develop new understanding of anatomy and perform complex multidisciplinary diagnostics.

RATstream™ is an ambitious European project that aims to use transgenic rat models to characterise 3 neurodegenerative diseases which all have a major impact on the health care system. Ultimately, the project hopes to deliver a procedure for low cost automated drug screening along with a set of data describing the phenotype for each of the models/disease states. Crosslinks provides a complex data-management system for the project. The RATstream™ server is managed via a central database and allows all the integrated genomics data, PET images and behavioural and physiological data from the rats to be stored, viewed and analyzed.
